At Woldies, we believe in the power of nature to inspire creativity and play. Woldies play spaces are designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and provide endless opportunities for imaginations to run wild.
Kids can run, jump, climb, dig, build or explore in their own little world. You can get stuck in with them, catch up with friends or take a moment to yourself to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. Families love Woldies wholesome vibe where the whole family can slow down, feel connected and leave rejuventated.
A natural sand and water play space designed for imaginative play and hours of fun. Dig and play in two huge “sand ponds”, set sail to sand island, brave the water spray stepping stones, summit the boulder stack, and serve up sandy treats for the family in Woldies Huge Covered Mud Kitchen.
Set within Woldies Wild Play are the Timber Trail Play Area and Mini Trail for toddlers. Test balance, agility and determination to complete the trail without touching the ground! Kids love hopping aboard the play train and testing their tractor driving skills!
2 GIANT MAZES FEATURING DINOSAURS, GAMES AND MORE
Around 2000 willow trees make up the living and growing mazes.
Hunt for roar-some dinos in Woldies Dino Maze! Help the T-Rex find her nest before the eggs hatch by weaving through the willow maze and dodging the dino sculptures along the way.
The 9 holes and natural obstacles provide heaps of family friendly competition. Test your skills to weave through wildflowers, guide the ball through lavender alley and chip over giant logs and sand bunkers!
FOOT POOL
Don’t forget to challenge friends and family to a life-sized game of Foot Pool. Step on to the boards and kick the coloured footballs in to the pockets to win! NEW Foot Pool boards in a new area!

Recently revamped to add new challenges and obstacles, foot golf & foot pool are visitor favourites. We can usually tell who’s won the round by who tells us it was their favourite thing to do at Woldies!
Woldies Miniature Railway is perfect for families & train lovers
- Book on arrival when checking in.
- £2.50 per person, under 1’s ride free.
- Under 7s must be accompanied by an adult.
- Train rides take 10-15 minutes, on a circular route.
Departing from platform 7 ¼, Woldies 7 ¼”Narrow Gauge Railway takes you on a whistle stop tour of Woldies.
For train enthusiasts watch up close as the engine spins on the miniature turntable and listen for the horn as you pass through the level crossings! Look out for a surprise hiding in the tunnel!
